2018 Rocky Mountain Slayer C90

Putting my beloved Slayer up on the market even though this rig is an absolute beast on any properly gnarly track. Changed to a different style of bike to better suit my needs.

The Slayer is composed at speed, agile in the corners, loves to play around on the trail and get sent. The bike is definitely more along the lines of a mini-DH bike than a beefed up trail bike on the enduro spectrum which means its ridiculously confidence inspiring. I've done, and gotten away with, some pretty gnarly trails on this and without a scratch on me or it. The progressive suspension design offers great small pump sensitivity, a really solid mid-stroke, and strong bottom out resistance. While the gravity oriented part of this bike speaks for itself, the climbing shouldn't be overlooked. It's a great pedaler! At only 30lbs and with a great pedaling platform, I've left the shock in full open on everything but fire road. There's very little bob, even when standing up. If you have big mountain riding and are looking to improve yourself as a rider - this is your bike. Hands down.

As for the bike's condition, I'm a former mechanic so I keep my bike in great shape. Cables and housing were replaced in May and the brakes were bled and new pads were installed at that time as well. Bearings have been freshly re-greased and I had PUSH low friction seals put in the fork when it was rebuilt in March. The rear triangle has a few scratches on it from the occasion flying debris but the front triangle is mint.
