This is a great bike, in great shape. I could not resist the Batmobile styling of this bike and went with it on the color and sticker scheme. The bike rides very nimbly while still being stable as a bulldozer in the rough stuff. I'm only selling it because I need to thin the herd.

This is a six year old downhill bike that is in very impressive shape given that, but it does have some things about which one should be aware when purchasing. The comparative price of this bike to others on this site reflect these "shortcomings". None of these render the bike unusable, I'm just trying to be as honestly transparent as possible.

1. The shot of the shock shows the infamous "paint chip" that these frames develop. The paint/clear coat cracks slightly near the Flip-chip linkages. Evil has confirmed that it is a superficial blemish with no impact on the integrity of the frame. You can read about it ad nauseam here (https://www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=143371&pagenum=1) and on other discussion boards around the interwebs.

2. There is a small crack in the top of the chain guide from being over tightened, but it is still fully functional

3. The brakes are due for a bleed, but are still fully functional

4. The spherical bearings in the "dog bone" links could stand to be replaced. They can be gotten from here (https://www.enduroforkseals.com/products/berings-individual/specialty-bearings/full-comp/DR1017-2RS-MAX.html). The bike still rides like a dream, but should be done to reduce play in those links. All other bearings were greased and checked at the end of last year and have only two days of riding on them.
