2016 Transition TransAm 27.5 Hardtail

This is a fully custom build originally retailing for $3500 and most of the components have been replaced since new. This bike has been professionally maintained, including a full teardown/rebuild and suspension service before posting for sale. It's is in ready to ride/needs nothing condition and will best suit a rider (~5'9"-6'3") looking for a great all-rounder. Currently being stored indoors and not ridden. Mechanic owned.

Build includes:

2014 Rockshox Pike 140mm travel (Full service completed May 01 by Fluid Function, regular oil changes @ 50hr intervals throughout its life)
X Fusion Manic dropper post 125mm travel
11 speed SRAM GX drivetrain 10-42T with new KMC chain installed (no rides on chain)
Shimano SLX crankset with an Absolute Black 30T oval chainring
TRP Slate G-Spec brakes with new pads installed (no rides on pads, brakes freshly bled)
Shimano SLX 180mm brake rotors (new, no rides)
Raceface Turbine stem 50mm
Raceface Chester bars 760mm (new, no rides)
ODI lock on grips
Chromag Contact pedals (new pins in May)
WTB Volt saddle


Two fresh wheels this winter:
Front - WTB Frequency i23, butted spokes, brass nipples laced to a SRAM MTH hub. Maxxis Minion DHF 2.3 EXO tubeless (~60% tread remaining)
Rear - DT Swiss 421, butted spokes, brass nipples laced to a DT Swiss 370 hub. Maxxis Aggressor 2.3 DD tubeless (new in May)
