Get back to your roots with a steel hardtail....but still hang with your riding buddies.
This little honey loves to get rowdy on the trails. Amaze your full suspension friends by hanging with them on the descents without breaking a sweat, then climb back up with ease!
But seriously, this bike does great on the trails and is really fun to ride. Modern geometry by Kona makes it a very capable bicycle in a discrete package

Originally purchased as a frame and built up in 2016 with carefully selected parts.
Side note: This is the only bike in my fleet that I can wheelie for long stretches at a time. Something about the geometry makes it really good to ride wheelies with.

++SPECS++
Steel frame, size Large, 27.5 wheels
BEEFY 2016 Fox 36 Float fork in excellent condition, not a lot of miles. Set to 130mm travel.
New tires and recent brake upgrade to SLX with 180mm rotors front and rear.
1x10 Shimano XT drivetrain with OneUp 40 tooth rear sprocket conversion
New-ish Boost front wheel with stan's rim and XT hub (was custom built for the bike when I installed the Fox fork)
Sealed Cane Creek headset
KS Dropper post (seat has a small amount of side to side play from the post, but doesn't bother me at all).

I recently (last December) upgraded to the Fox 36 fork. Fork was rebuilt at this time because the travel reducing spacer needed to be installed. Work done by my LBS. This fork also required a new Boost front wheel to be built. So I had them build up a fresh wheel with Shimano XT hub and Stan's rim. At this time I also upgraded to the SLX brakes and installed new rotors front and rear. This little refresh cost over $800!!

No frame damage or any weird shady shit, she is solid and ready for more trails than I can throw at her. Everything works great, ready to ride. Always stored indoors and cleaned after every ride.

This has been my favorite mountain bike, even more than my full squish bikes. But life beckons and I have to throw money at other problems.
Bike will be professionally packed and I will split the cost of that charge with you. My LBS quoted $50 to box a bike.
Buyer responsible for paying shipping. I use a UPS ground commercial account and will send tracking. Recently sent a bike to Texas and shipping cost was $220 (for example).

Sorry I can't do less than $1200 on this bike.
