2017 MEC Dash 20" (with upgrades)

A quality, lightweight aluminum kids’ mountain bike sold by MEC. Well cared for and maintained.

Upgrades:
- Cassette and shifter from a 7-speed (14-28) Gripshift to an 8-speed (13-34) Sunrace freewheel with a Shimano trigger shifter. My kid loved the trigger shifter vs griftshift and also so much happier climbing with the new 34t cog vs the old 28t.

- Tires w/ a more aggressive tread pattern (made a big difference for actual mountain biking). Stock tires will come with the bike and are great for road/gravel use.

Stock Items:
- 6061 butted aluminum frame is lightweight and durable.
- Suntour suspension fork for a smoother ride. (kept fully functioning with lubrication and cleaning at regular intervals).
- Shimano shifters and derailleurs.
- Alex alloy rims for light and durable wheels.
- Size specific brake levers, saddle, and grips for a perfect fit.
