Pains me to do this but I JUST bought this bike for my 16 year old daughter 2 weeks ago and she really doesn't like it. She now has 4 rides on this bike and since she's been riding my wife's 120mm XC hardtail bike (longer reach too) she says the XC is just way more comfortable for her than an trail/enduro bike and suits her style. I knew this was a bit of a risk hence why I got her a used bike.

We are the 3rd owner - the original owner was an older woman that almost never rode the bike and sold it to a younger girl that used it regularly for most of 2019. She made all the upgrades on the bike and it performs way above it's league now. Has one small cosmetic chip on the top tube from original owner putting on a bike rack and travelling a long distance and the bike was chafing another bike otherwise it is mint.

The 2019 upgrades were new Shimano rotors 200mm front 180mm rear. Remove 2X front and go 1X with full XT rear deraileur, cassette (now running 1X11 - 11x42 cassette), cranks (32T) and shifter. Brand new Vittoria (I had to look them up myself) Deamion Enduro Wheelset ($700) with brand new E13 LG1 tires. Nice wheels and rear hub is pretty loud and seems to have good engagement.

I contacted her the day she listed it - saw it that night and bought it on the spot for $1100 cash. She said that's what she invested into the bike alone in 2019 and just wanted that money back.

The orginal owner was 5'1" and said she felt a touch stretched on the bike - my daughter is 5'3" and it fits her perfect. 5'4" tall would be the max.

I did a little research in case my daughter really liked it and started riding a lot harder to upgrade the front fork. There are not a ton of fork upgrade options in 27.5 with 100mm axle out there but the #1 would be a Fox Float 34 as the most viable that would make this an absolute capable bike from trail to bike park laps. The fork (RockShox Sektor) is decent but I could see it needing a service soon if you plan on hammering the bike - which I was probably going to do - but as is it is working well. Needs a dropper post too but didn't want to invest into the bike before I was 100% sure my daughter was stoked on it.
