WTB: aggressive hardtail size medium

Looking for a solid hardtail around the 1k mark. Hoping for something with the following things. Some should kind of go without saying but yeah. Also willing to go up to 1500 depending on the bike given the current bike market. Would have to be very few compromises though.
-Will fit someone 5'8 (430-450 reach seems good)
-dropper post
-1x drivetrain
-head angle somewhere in the 65-68 deg range and decently steep seat angle
-overall at least somewhat modern geo for a trail/am hardtail
-steel or Alu are both fine
-decent fork with maybe 120-140mm travel
-hydraulic brakes
-rear thru axle (ok if not boost)
-maybe a 29er but 27.5+ or regular 27.5 are good too!
Located in mass and cool with having something shipped here as long as overall cost is in the price range. My partner and I had our bikes stolen from our house. I've found a replacement for myself but they need to replace their timberjack. The timberjack is actually a good example of what they are looking for but I think they may take this opportunity to go more aggressive or get better components than their deore had. Please help get us out riding again!
