This is a solid bike but will require some work to get it running 100%. I used this bike up until moving to Whistler early last year and it has been sat at home since.

The good:

- Great frame. Really solid and have had no issues with its integrity.
- Upgraded shock due to a warranty issue with the original. Originally came with a RockShox Kage RC but now has a RockShox Vivid R2C which offers more tunability and better performance.
- Upgraded cockpit with Joystick handlebars and direct mount stem.
- Upgraded Mavic 729 rims.

The bad:

- Forks have external cosmetic damage and have not been serviced in a few years, partly due to not being used in the last 18-months.
- Brakes work absolutely but will require a bleed due to being sat for a while.
- Will require a new rear mech as the current one is slightly bent meaning you can't use the full range of gears.
- One of the points where the cranks bolt to the chain ring has snapped off. It hasn't caused any issues but is worth mentioning and is shown in the pictures.

In all honesty, this bike will require some work but this is reflected in the low price. It was completely ridable when left but the forks will certainly need a service prior to their use. The rest of the issues are cosmetic and do not affect the bike's performance. The wheels run true but some of the spokes will require retensioning. The drive train will need upgrading to work properly but it rides as is, just without the full range of gearing. The bearings are solid and there is no play in the frame but having been sat for a while I cannot guarantee their condition.

With the bike I will include the the old rear rim which was professionally serviced and fitted with a WetScream tyre to easily swap in muddy conditions. There is also a spare WetScream tyre for the front. The grips are almost worn but I will include a fresh pair of Senus grips when shipping.

All in all, I think the bike would require about £250-350 worth of servicing to be running sweet and should cost you around £1000 all in! It's been a great bike and one of the last of the 26" generation, I'm sorry to see it go but my parents are now moving house and will no longer have the space to store it.

Unfortunately I do not have direct access to the bike at the moment as I am unable to visit home due to the pandemic but I can get more pictures of any parts of the bike you wish to see. Just drop me a message with any questions you may have.
