This gorgeous steel roadie arrived as a donation here at Two Wheel View, with a bit of a backstory. According to the previous owner, this bike was originally built for Olympian Scott Price by Ben Serotta, some time in the 90s. If you're not familiar with Serotta, check out the pedigree, they built bikes for legends like Lemond and Hampsten.

Apparently this bike left Price's possession and changed hands a few times, and at some point was 're-branded' with some Brodie Rodie stickers, maybe for sponsor reasons or to be less likely to stand out as a special bike? It's unclear but in any case, the frame is clearly stamped with the Serotta logo and is definitely not actually a Brodie (not that there's anything wrong with Brodies!).
The bike is currently sporting a mix of 105/Ultegra components, 2x9 drivetrain, right down to the hubs. The brakes are of a slightly newer vintage and are FSA. Campy Chorus headset. Newish Specialized Turbo 700x24 tires are light and fast. Wear items like chain, cables, and brake pads all show minimal wear. Bars were just freshly wrapped. All in all this bike represents an absolute classic with a cool story behind it, but is in great condition and ready to be ridden and not just hung on a wall (unless that's what you want to do with it).
Top tube and seat tube are 58cm, head tube is 16.5cm. Saddle height pictured is about 80cm from bb axis to top of saddle.
