2017 Liv Hail 1, Small

2017 Liv Hail 1, bought new from Giant Southampton.
This was an upgrade for my wife from her previous Kona Precept. At the time the Small size was the correct option (given the size and geo of her Kona) but with time she has outgrown it slightly. With a new bike on the way it is time to free up some space in the stable.

This bike has been a gem from the word go and we have done our best to keep it running well throughout.
Whilst it has been around the world and ridden in some of the planet’s finest locations, it is still in good condition for its age and usage.
2020 saw a very minimal amount of riding, so whilst most major maintenance jobs haven’t necessarily been completed since, these jobs are mostly well under their hours.

- Main areas heli-taped from new. Some has been removed for sale. Minor scrapes, rubs and dings but generally clean.
- Chain, cassette and chainring all replaced summer 2019. There is plenty of life left on all of them, with only minimal chain stretch.
- Forks replaced under warranty winter ‘17/18. They were upgraded from the OEM RC model to RCT3s at the same time. Last serviced at TF Tuned summer 2019
- Shock replaced under warranty Sept 2019
- Dropper post damper assembly replaced Oct 2020. There is significant wear on the shaft but the post operates well, if not with kashima-grade slickness.
- Tyres set up tubeless. Bontrager G5 Team Issue, with plenty of life on both.
- Comes with DMR V12 pedals as shown.
