2011 Utility Trailer Bike Hauler

Up for grabs is a customized 4’x6’ utility trailer designed to haul up to 7 bikes (possibly 8) as well as a significant amount of additional cargo capacity for camping and riding gear. The original utility trailer is a Marathon brand available at Home Depot and retails for $1200 as shown in this link: https://www.homedepot.ca/product/marathon-4-x-6-galvanized-steel-utility-trailer/1000779105. I added a pressure treated plywood box that measures 48” wide x 71.5” deep x 20” tall (internal measurements, just slightly smaller than a truckbox in terms of cargo capacity). The bike rack is built using Unistrut and can comfortably haul 6 bikes (pictures show 6 bikes on the rack). I have loaded 7 bikes in the past, and I believe if you were brave you could get 8 on there. The bike rack works like a padded tail gate as to how it holds the bikes, and I use bungee cords to hold the bikes down. This trailer is super light and can easily be towed by a car or minivan , or even moved around by hand by myself. My family of 6 has used this trailer to haul our bikes and gear with our minivan for many camping trips to Fernie and Jasper and it worked great. I am now selling it as we have bought a camper and I now haul the bikes over the truck box. I am asking $1000 obo.
