Accounting Assistant – North Vancouver

Orange Sport Supply Inc. is a fast growing bicycle parts and accessories distributor located in North Vancouver.

We are looking for a detail oriented individual with strong organization and communication skills to fill the role of Accounting Assistant.

This is a permanent part time position responsible for general accounting and office duties with an emphasis on Accounts Receivable.

The core hours required are Monday to Friday 1-4pm. Ideally the position will be 10am-4pm, but for the right applicant we can consider a flexible/later start time for a 5-6 hour day.

The position works closely with our sales and accounting departments.

Key areas include:
• Accounts Receivable
o Manage and Administer Customer Accounts
o Prepare invoices
o Process Cash Receipts
o Communication with customers (independent bike shops)

• Accounts Payable
• General Office

Requirements:
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Relevant experience (1 year minimum preferred)
• Courses in accounting or bookkeeping an asset
• Competent in Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to multitask and use initiative
• Strong communication skills & supportive team member
