I am 6ft and had a large longshot Cotic Solaris a few years back. I was never comfortable when seated as the effective top tube felt too stretched out for me. So I brought this medium BFe Max as a bit of a project.
It turns out that the medium fits me well, if you look at Cotic size chart for this bike and you are at the lower end for a medium then I would imagine it would be good with a shorter stem. The one up 210mm post also comes with spacers to drop it by 20mm and the outer post will go down fully into the frame. I could also fit a 150mm reverb if needed.
I have built this frame up twice. I built it up with some other parts and used it last winter then stripped it down and put the frame away.
Then I recently built it back up with some nicer parts from a full suspension frame that I sold a few months ago and have only used it a handful of times since.
My problem is that’s it’s still a Hardtail and I just don’t get on with them anymore, so I have decided to sell it.

It’s all in good condition, the frame has probably done less than anything else on the bike. There are a few small chips on the frame that I touch up then decide to put an Invisiframe kit onto it when it wasn’t built up.
I have also fitted a VHS chainstay guard that is a bit improvement over the original Cotic one.

The forks are Pike ultimates set at 140mm with a C1 air shaft they are in good working order. I have not long done a lower service on them. I also had a new upper crown assembly fitted by sram at the end of last year so there are no creaks coming from the uppers.

The Drivetrain is in good condition, the chain is measuring at just under 0.5mm of wear so there is loads of life left in it. The cranks are in good condition there is a bit of a mark in the Invisiframe on the RH crank see photos. I have just put a brand new 30t ring on it which has only done one ride and the fitted DUB BB hasn’t had much use.

The brakes are working well with plenty of pad life

The wheels are probably the oldest part of the build but they are still very usable, the wheels are true. There is no play in the bearings and whist the bearings don’t feel new they also don’t feel overly rough. The tyres are set up Tubeless.

Included in the sale is the original Cotic chainstay guard and seat clamp some Cotic touch up pain and the One Up travel shims.

I would ideally like the bike to be collected but I can post but it would be an extra £50 to post.

Cheers
Tom
