2018 GT Verb Elite, size large (19")

WILL NOT SHIP

This is the bike that really got me into mountain biking, I've had some great times and fond memories on this bike. It's a great bike for beginners who want to get more into the sport but don't want to break the bank on their first full squish. I have kept it in good condition, and the only reason I'm selling it is because I bought a new bike. This bike climbs quite well. The 19" frame should be good for anyone from 5'7" to 6".

It is in excellent condition, I am the third owner of the bike, the original owner took good care of it, the second owner only had it for a short time, and I've had it for about a year now, and have maintained it well.

Everything on it works as it should, no problems, nothing on the bike needs replacing except for the tires. Shifts smoothly. Besides the tires, everything on this bike is ready to go.

Frame is in great condition, only with some chips and scuffs here and there.

The front rim was replaced by the original owner, I replaced the rear rim with a brand new Mavic XM 119 rim, and with all new spokes.

I put the original tires back on it, but I'd recommend replacing them some good tires. If you pay asking price I can install new tires on it for free, but you will have to provide the tires (I can help you find tires). I do have a Maxxis Minion DHF 27.5x2.3 3CT EXO, ~80% tread that I'd be willing to sell to you for $50 (and can install for free).

Putting an air fork on the bike was a major upgrade, but I'm not willing to part with the air fork I used with it so it will come with the stock Suntour XCR32 coil. If you pay asking price I can install a new air fork for free, as long as it's compatible with the bike (tapered steerer, 100mm QR axle). pinkbike.com/buysell/3460037/ this fork would be perfect for the bike.

Another thing which was a major upgrade was a dropper post, again, I'm not willing to sell the one that I had put on it, but I'm happy to install one for you as long as you provide it, for free if you pay asking price. pinkbike.com/buysell/3460857/ this dropper post would be a great match for the bike.

The rear shock is air, and the LBS did a basic service done on it around six months ago.

I serviced the hubs and installed new brake pads front and rear recently, and have barely ridden the bike since.

The bottom bracket, frame bearings, and headset bearings all function smoothly.

It also comes with a 1x10 Shimano Deore M4100 drivetrain, which shifts smoothly and works as it should. The BB is in excellent condition. This is the same drivetrain that came on my friend’s Giant Reign, which is a $4k bike.

Specs:

SR Suntour XCR 32 coil fork, 120mm travel, tapered steerer, 100mm QR axle, rebound and lockout adjustments
DNM AO-42R rear air shock, 120mm travel, rebound adjustments
Shimano MT201 hydraulic disc brakes on Shimano RT10 180mm centerlock rotors
GT All Terra hubs, I suspect that they're made by Shimano on a BionX rim for the front, and a Mavic XM 119 rim on the rear
WTB Ranger 27.5x2.25 tires (need replacing)
Shimano Deore M4100 10 speed derailleur and shifter
KMC X10 chain
SunRace CSMS3 cassette, 10-42t, 10 speed
ProWheel Charm crankset, 170mm I believe. 104mm BCD
BRAND NEW Funn grips
GT stock saddle
GT stock pedals (would recommend replacing, I used RaceFace Chesters with this bike but they're on a different bike now)

I would be happy to do most maintenance on this bike for you, when the time comes, let me know what you want done and I can quote you, and it would most definitely be cheaper than the bike shop.
$895 CAD
