2023 Halo/Shimano handbuilt 29" wheelset

had a request for a budget wheelset and the buyer backed out, so listing here.
This is NOT fancy by any means, but it is a very solid wheelset and should be a nice wheelset for someone.

Halo Vortex 29" rims - trail/enduro designation, with a 33mm inner width which should suit 2.3-2.8" tires very nicely. Brand new.

2.0/1.7 double butted black spokes all the way around with silver brass nipples.

Hubs are take-offs from another bike, never ridden, but a little dirty from storage/moving, Shimano HB-MT400 front hub, and Shimano FH-MT510-B rear hub. Again, NOT FANCY, but these are solid options with the cup/cone system that with proper maintenance will last a very long time. The freehub engagement is also the classic Shimano system, not the newer engagement system that has a longevity problem. Microspline for Shimano 12-speed microspline setups. Centerlock disc brake mount.

Rims retail ~$90/rim, hubs are another ~$35-50/hub, plus spoke/nip cost.
I'm selling this basically at cost and shipping price is included in the $300 price - will not lower anymore, if they don't sell I will rebuild into a different configuration
