Selling an unridden, light gray color 2022 Santa Cruz Hightower C Carbon frame in the rare full Shimano Deore XT kit version. When I purchased it, the listed price was $6099, as shown in the screenshots I’ve provided, then went up to $6799 later in the year because of the worldwide supply chain shortage. This is a top notch rig. The frame also has the High/Low setting for different geometry feel that suits the rider best. I have been mountain biking for 35 years and have upgraded bikes every 7 years or so. Unfortunately a few days after I purchased this bike, I was involved in a debilitating work related injury and never got the chance to take it out. I kept my hopes up over the course of the last couple years to return to the sport I loved, but I am finally facing the reality that at age 50, my time mountain biking is over. This bike has literally ONLY been ridden in the parking lot of Pasadena Cyclery where I made the purchase the day I picked it up, and it is very apparent when you see it. It has never seen dirt and is in showroom condition. Pasadena Cyclery is a preferred and official dealer of the Santa Cruz brand. The tires never even had tire sealant poured into it. This bike has been sitting in a spare bedroom in my home collecting dust. During the first few months, I added upgrades to it to get ready for when I made my “return”. Upgrades include… OneUp crank Bash Guard + Chain Guide Kit V2, which is their version 2, cost me $120. Reciprocators RRP Pro Guard Front & Rear Fenders also V2 (version 2), cost me $100. The Carbon frame is wrapped with Ride Wrap vinyl protection. You can notice in the pics, cost me $100. Also included will be a Timber Downhill mountain bike bell and side mount water bottle. You can see all in the pictures. That’s about $400 in additional upgrades. The bike is ready to hit the trail asap. Not a single scratch anywhere. Pay attention to the pics underneath the frame, not a mark. I will also include a couple bottles of Stan’s No Tube tire sealant as well. All of the specs, as well as the retail listed price are in the screenshots I took from Santa Cruz’s website at the time, that’s why I haven’t listed them here. All measurement specs as well I have screenshotted. This bike feels more like a “larger” large than an XL because Santa Cruz also makes an XXL version, so their XL size really feels like it falls between an L and XL. I am 6’0 190 pounds and have always preferred a larger cockpit. I’ve included many pictures to show off the bike. Asking $3900
$3,900 USD
Restrictions: Reasonable offers only, No Trades, Local pickup only
