GREEN Chris King 135mm DISC Rear hub (with Heavy Duty axle)

Selling my unique green Chris King hub. Why unique? Because it is green. It also has the HD (heavy duty) axle upgrade with Fun Bolts instead of the crappy quick release so it clamps onto your 10x135mm frame with ridiculous strength and makes everything super stiff. Still retains an aluminum cassette body to save weight. T

This hub with this setup is not available for purchase anywhere. Normally you can either buy the heavy "HD" version which HD axle and steel cassette body, or the normal version with the crappy QR axle. This hub is the combination of both advantages of strength yet light weight.

It is in mint condition, with some minor marks on the cassette body. I used an XT cassette with the aluminum carrier so it minimized any damage to the cassette body. It's been on a bike for 2 seasons but not used much at all. Bearings spin smooth, and I've serviced the internals recently.

Currently is laced to a spare rim (WTB Speeddisc AM) with dt swiss competition spokes. You can choose to buy the whole wheel or just the hub, my price doesn't change. However shipping for a wheel is expensive, so I suggest getting the hub alone if you are not local. The rim is not damaged or bent but its really just a cheapo spare rim and not really worth anything.
