Raleigh Fixed Gear commuter/student bike (56/57cm)

I have a great commuter fixed gear for sale, perfect for any student looking to get around town and to campus.

It is a steel Raleigh frame and fork, black (some scuff marks, but overall great shape)
Size is about a 56/57cm.
Front wheel is an Ambrosio rim to a Shimano 105 hub
Rear Wheel is a Surly fixed gear (flip flop) hub, laced to a mavic CXP 21 rim (red with machined brake surface).
Front knobby tire, rear wider slick. Ideal tires for various city terrain.
Weinmann Front brake (trust me, if you’re new to fixies like me, you’ll appreciate it), with an avid brake lever and little shorty cable.
Black riser bars, cut down 3 inches on each side. I find them to be the perfect width now.
Ritchey grips
Selle Italia (Italian made) saddle, and an old school race seat post.
The bike is geared absolutely perfect for city commuting. Going at a good speed, going up hills, crawling slowly, starting and stopping; all can be done with ease.

The bike was clearly built for functionality and not eye candy. If you’re looking for one of those hipster show-off bikes (all decked out in chrome super deep v’s and seafoam green paint with white components) to match your 1600s French moustache, look elsewhere.

If you are looking for a nice fixed gear for commuting, and that won’t get instantly stolen, and at a fair price with good parts, this is it!

Works perfectly, I often take it on 25-40km rides.
