For sale here is a GT iDrive 5. It is a slightly older iteration of GT's current full suspension linkage: the only real difference is in the fact that the frame is not hydroformed like current models. It pedals uphill with very little feedback/bob and downhills well for it's travel and geometry. Because it's a size L, the wheelbase is long enough to make it feel stable at speed, but it isn't wallowy in corners or while climbing. I work at a bike shop and got a new bike with more travel, but I've fallen in love and never ride this one any more. Before putting this up for sale, I trued the wheels and bled the brakes, along with making sure the derailleur was tuned and everything was perfect. The bash guard is custom CNC'd and has held up very well, and will continue to do so. The bike has an ISCG-05 adapter, so if you want to put a chainguide on, it will easily work. There is a front derailleur(it's there to keep the chain on), but there is no small chainring (there can't be) because I had to slightly modify the crank in order to fit a chain guide(not included, and the modification was done by a pro mechanic at the LBS where I work).

Part spec:

Frame: GT iDrive 5 ('08) (some paint chipping/scuffing and a few scratches, but it is all cosmetic.)
Fork: Manitou Minute ('10) (great condition, just a few cosmetic scuffs. Stantions are 100% scratch-free)
Shock: RockShox Monarch 4.2 ('10) (same condition as fork)
Brakes: Avid Elixir R (freshly bled)
Rear Der: SRAM x.9 (pretty new, never crashed with this)
Rear Shifter: SRAM x.9 (pretty new, never crashed with this)
Wheels: Forte Loco (freshly trued)
Seatpost: Thomson Elite (uncut)
Saddle: Fi'z'ik something or another, I'm not sure of the model
Stem: Truvative Hussefelt
Bars: RaceFace Evolve AM (brand new, never ridden)
Bashguard: Custom CNC'd bashguard (signs of use are present, but it has held up perfectly and will keep going for a long while)
Grips: Giant lock-on (brand new, never used)
Tires: Kenda Nevegal (not new but in good condition)
