This 58cm size is the Limited Edition Signature Series bike made to commemorate Armstrong's first Tour de France win in 1999. The same frame as his bike - TREK's famous carbon frame. This is bike 914 of 1999 made and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity as well as a number plate on the bike. Full Dura-ace components. This one, however has a few features that set it far apart from the rest. This one is virtually new - less that 300km of use, never in the rain, never dropped, always stored indoors. I ride it 2 or 3 times a year max and only if there is no chance of rain. Another huge bonus is the super rare Mavic Ksyrium SSL SC Tour de France 100th Anniversary wheelset with one yellow spoke on each - and are a numbered set. US Postal team saddle, Chris King headset, Deda bar. For the collector however, the bike was signed in person by Lance Armstrong in Sept 2005 while he was in Alberta for a Tour of Courage event, shortly after his seventh TDF win. I followed the group most of the day and was lucky enough to get him to sign it just at the end of the day. Below his autograph on the headtube is a 7X, representing 7 wins, a nice match for the 1999 Tour de France Champion label near the seat tube. I doubt there is another bike with these features and condition anywhere.
