Chris King/Syncros DS28 wheelset, like new, $575

Selling my King Wheelset. Silver Chris King hubs laced to black Syncros DS28 rims, with black DT double butted spokes and black brass nipples. Front hub is 20mm, rear is 135mm. Note, rear hub has been upgraded with the stainless steel drive shell, one piece axle, and has Fun Bolts. Both hubs have the new bearing preload adjusting collars that use a 2.5mm allen. Wheels are about two years old, but have been ridden sparingly since I have two other bikes. The rear was rebuilt with brand new spokes and a new rim last fall, after a rock and I didn't get along on the trail. So the rear wheel has maybe 20 rides on it at most I'd say, since the rebuild last fall.

Wheels are in excellent condition, and have no dings or flat spots. I had my local wheel builder go over them with a fine tooth comb a few days ago, perfectly true and tension is good. I overhauled the hubs back in the spring, and they've seen only a few rides since then. Both rims have a handful of paint nicks or a scratch or two on them, but nothing major at all.

Rear wheels weighs 1201 grams (with fun bolts,) an front wheel is 968 grams. Love the wheels, but selling only to go with a different set up that I can go tubeless with more easily.
