The River City Outdoor Recreation Association (RCORA) was created to help increase awareness of the numerous outdoor activities available in the Waynesboro area, including mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, trail running, and canoeing.
Our goal is to assist Waynesboro and surrounding areas with outdoor recreational service projects.
RCORA is currently teaming with the City of Waynesboro to bring a variety of trails to an abandoned landfill, now renamed Sunset Park. RCORA will be helping to design, build, and maintain the trail system.
