SOMBA is a collective of people who travel the country for mountain bike adventures. Before now, the nearest trail system was over an hour away. We all could see the potential for great mountain bike trails in our own backyard (Shawnee State Park and Forest). We have come together to create the same experiences we have on our travels, but close to home. We also want to introduce more people to the sport and educate all ages to be responsible, respectful trail stewards. We are a motivated group as we had our first meeting October 2018 and began building trails March 2019.
