We are a volunteer social club that likes to hike and construct and maintain trails. Our club maintains 19.1 miles of the world famous Appalachian Trail between Reeds Gap and Rockfish Gap. We act as stewards of this portion of the Appalachian Trail and the public lands it runs through. This makes us uniquely different from other hiking clubs in the area. In addition to leading trail maintenance trips, our club also leads many types of hikes ranging from short and long day hikes to longer backpacking trips. Other activities include biking and paddling events conducted mostly in central Virginia. We also sponsor educational opportunities, social events, and community outreach programs, just to name a few.

Most of all, we want to be outside enjoying our surroundings and the company of others, while all the time having fun doing it.
