I've long been using Ultimate Bicycle for my biking needs. They are friendly, fair, and have some of the best prices in town. They have been able to help me with everything from road bikes to racing DH. I can't say a bad thing about this shop & I have tried several in the Charlotte area. I'm a customer for life.
The guys at Ultimate are fantastic, always friendly, knowledgeable and never give off that elitist bike snob vibe. HUGE inventory of bikes too including Santa Cruz, Intense, and Trek. Love the fact that they are willing to teach you the tricks of the trade. Running a bike shop in the current age of internet retail is tough. These guys have figured out how to make the LBS model work WITH the online retail market.
