Sovereign Cycle is a terrific little bike shop. Like it says on their homepage "hard to find" due to their location at the back of the parking lot of Vintage View Center - but it's worth the drive!
These guys really know their stuff: Competent, friendly, reliable and reasonable pricing.

When I wrecked my frontwheel on a trail nearby (just staying in Westbank for a few days), they repaired it within one hour to let me enjoy the rest of the afternoon on the local trails, and built me a fine new frontwheel the same evening. They did that in spite of their closing-time, because I wanted to continue
traveling the next morning and have my bike in best shape for my next adventure.
The front wheel I got was meticulously built and absolutely well-priced. The nice chat I had with them everytime I went in there was the icing on the cake.

There is definitely nothing more you can ask for in a bike shop!

Great place! Wanted to buy a chain, Outbound cycle (their main competitor on the Westside) had it for 30$, then I went to Sovereign and they charged me 16$ for the same chain! Yesterday I needed a bolt for my derailleur hanger and they gave me one for free. Altogether and awesome place with great service!

What a ride!! Not on the bike, but rather the treatment by the staff...particularly Russel. I attended Sovereign with an ebike that seemed to have a derailer problem. Obviously the shop was busy....but they made time for me and Russel made short work of analyzing the situation and carrying out the repair and adjustments needed....all at a reasonable price. For anyone looking for quality service and fair pricing go to Sovereign. Just look at all the ***'s

Way over priced. I was told a specific price for something that was already over priced, but I figured maybe these guys take a bit extra time to do a better job. Go to pay for my products and come to find out the prices are even higher then I was told. Seems like a small bike shop trying to make it witch is fine but not when they are ripping off people to do so. Would not recommend going there unless you want to pay more for the same product.

I feel the need to chime in here. We may have made a mistake when quoting on the spokes for your wheel build, stuff like that happens when you get a verbal quote. When you brought it to our attention that you were unhappy with the amount of the bill you had already paid I gave you an in-store discount coupon. That coupon, if used wisely is worth far more than the $12 you feel you were overcharged for the spokes.
I'll admit we do charge more for our service that some other shops in the area but there's no doubt that our service is also far better than most. Don't forget you still have a free wheel true for both of those wheels - that's part of what you pay for with our service.

What I should have added to the reply above. If you'd be happier with a refund of the difference between the estimated cost and what you were charged, we'd be happy to accommodate.
