JoyRide is hands down the best shop in Boise. Phil Vega and his staff are top tier humans that honestly care about YOU, not just about finances. They build lasting relationships within the community, support race series, sponsor athletes, are advocates for trails and local events and host the best group ride in the valley - Wednesday Night Rides.

Swing in next time you're around Hyde Park, and plan to stick around for great conversation and current trail info.

Horrible customer and bike service. After walking in (and not being greeted or helped) you get the feeling that you're not even welcome in the store. When you finally do get some help, the staff talks down to you and belittles your equipment. Had a tune up done at this shop and will never be back. I should have known better when the mechanic instantly tried to sell me a new chain, cassette, shifter cable (which was brand new...), etc. Drivetrain wasn't cleaned or adjusted and their "fork service" only included changing the oil. I, in no way got what I paid for. When I complained about the service, they insisted that is all a tune up includes (losing battle.....). They definitely have a different idea of what a tune up is. Long story short, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I would gladly walk an extra couple of miles (with a flat tire) to the next shop just to buy a tube. Repeat, DON'T GO HERE!!
