Went in a few months ago to get my rear brake bled. It got done and in double fast time, but when I was speaking to the mechanic about the other things that I needed done to my bike (bearings on rear linkage changed, forks serviced, rear shock serviced and a whole bunch more), I turned around and saw the owner giving a "wrap it up" gesture to the guy I was talking to.
I really don't get this as we had been talking for maybe 2 minutes and were discussing how I was planning on spending £500+ in his shop over the winter period. Maybe if I was in there with an Apollo getting a puncture fixed, but not when I was considering spending that sort of money.
tl;dr: great work but definitely not great service. Do not recommend.

I had a bike fitting done and that was absolutely fine - a very professional and courteous service by a guy called Andy. However, the manager that day (bald and angry) was rude and bad tempered. He was admonishing one young guy on the shop floor in front of customers and when speaking to me was abrupt and unfriendly. He didn't even finish what he was saying to me as he disappeared into the stock room next to the counter - still mumbling to himself. My advice to these guys (having spent 20 years working in restaurants where people can get upset when they spend £10 on a pizza and a drink, never mind £100's) is its never worth winning an argument to lose a customer. The man who spoke to me like I was an inconvenience and annoying for asking a simple question should think about his career choice and remember (in the words of Ed Sheeran) "you need me man, I don't need you"!
