In 2013, after 4 years of running Resort and Wilderness Bike Camps, Base Mountain Bike Camps introduced a new DH race team in Alberta. Our first season on the circuit was a definite success with 16 podiums, 4 Provincial Championships and 1 World Cup attendance to prove it.
Satisfied with our first season, we took note of many aspects of what we wanted to improve on. Gearing up for next season, we are making changes that will provide even better rider support and many more hours of dedicated training.
For 2013-14, we are offering various race programs. First, we are running a fall race training weekend that we will also use as a Team Selection Camp. Secondly, we are running a Winter Bike Academy that will include gym and Joga sessions, nutrition seminars, advanced bike mechanic classes and many outdoor activities including skiing and snowboarding.
As for the actual race teams, we have two; One is for Affiliates Riders based outside of Calgary area. The other is our Performance Race Team which will be provided with ongoing training and coaching.

Hello from Cuba, is awesome to read about you and what you do, we would like to stay in touch, we are creating a community for MTB in Cuba right in the center of the island. Will be awesome if we can stay in touch and maybe do something together sometime if anyone comes down here from there and want to ride cuban trakc and trails.
