Malvern Cycle Sport is an established cycle club for everyone in Malvern and the surrounding area. The club has been set up by a group of enthusiastic cyclists in the region - drawn from road, mountain bike, track and triathlon disciplines.

This is our British Cycling powered website

http://www.bc-clubs.co.uk/malverncyclesport/ for more information.

You don't have to be a member of the club to attend the rides! However, joining the club offers many benefits. Membership can be purchased online using the link below and is a bargain at £5 for juniors and £10 for adults, with a family option also available.

Members get discounted and members-only events (from MTB weekends through to road to the velodrome, coaching and more), plus a big discount on club kit.

Sunday MTB ride : 9 am meet Malvern St James sports club level anyone welcome to give it a try, social ride stop for cake and a cuppa!

Friday MTB night ride: 7.30 pm meet MSJ as above (relatively quick pace and you need lights) normally call into the pub for a social drink afterwards (check FB page as not year round)

Wednesday MTB night ride : 7 pm meet Wyche bus stop (relatively fast group, but welcoming to all)

Thursday MTB Ladies group. 7 pm at the Layby opposite the Brewers Arms, West Malvern. An ideal group for all levels of female mountain bikers. We wish to be all inclusive and novices/nervous/unfit riders are just as welcome as those with experience. Pace is set to the slowest member. Contact Jo Page for details.

A fully working, basic mountain bike is adequate for MTB rides on the hills.

Road rides - these are currently rather ad hoc and organised through the Facebook page here. Regularity should be resumed during the winter off-season.

Malvern Cycle Sport also aims to provide club members with the chance to try other forms of riding, if they so wish. Cyclocross is popular with many of our members, and trips to Hereford BMX track, Newport Velodrome, Forest of Dean Downhilll trails have all been popular events in the past. Feedback and requests from members are most welcome, and indeed, encouraged, so we can provide a wide range of activities to be enjoyed by all.

The club's aim to be inclusive, providing a focal point for members ranging from novice leisure riders to race-hardened veterans. The club has also purposely been set up to provide support, coaching and direction for all the young riders in the area.

Happy riding all Smile
