A coalition of local bicyclists banded together in September 2009 to form Boone Area Cyclists, Inc. (BAC). BAC is organized as a nonprofit that is working to represent one voice for the cycling community. BAC members represent leisure cyclists, road cyclists, mountain bikers, and commuters of all ages and abilities.
