Rip’n The North Bike Club was formed in 2008 with the purpose of building a bike park in Vanderhoof. Rip’n the North Bike Club was successful in raising over $390,000.00 in funding to build a bike park and trail network in town. Rip’n The North Bike Club wants to develop Vanderhoof as a mountain bike tourism destination and become part of the Northern Mountain Bike Tourism Strategy.
