Canmore and Area Mountain Bike Association

Mission:

With a focus on Canmore and area, CAMBA’s overarching mandate is to advocate for mountain biking and strive for a vibrant and exciting trail system for all ages and abilities.

CAMBA recognizes the importance of great mountain bike trails for locals and the positive impact mountain bike tourism has as an important part of the visitor economy.

This mandate will include participation in the planning and development of a designated trail system based on industry best practices and will include:

• Participation in designing, building and maintaining trails
• Communication activities including research, fundraising, education, updates, events and promotion
• Involvement with stakeholders to advocate for, maintain and invest in a high quality local trail system
• Providing insight as subject matter experts in mountain biking during engagement activities with the community, and land managers and owners
• Being a catalyst in uniting the mountain bike community
• Enjoying high quality beverages in addition to mountain bike rides together in celebration of our sport’s culture.
