N.A.T.A. has been responsible for the design, development and maintaince of all singletrack trails located within the Levis / Trow Mound trail system. Cross country ski trails were redesigned by NATA and constructed by the Clark County Forestry Department, N.A.T.A . and Wisconsin Department of Corrections from Black River Falls.
N.A.T.A. is a small informal group of outdoor enthusiasts from the Neillsville Area who have worked hard to develop and promote silent sports in the area- specifically at Levis and Trow Mounds. Club members and friends founded the Buzzard Buster Mountain Bike Race 12 years ago, from a humble 57 riders, to well over 700. The race is a founding race of the W.O.R.S. series of races in Wisconsin. Funds raised from the race have gone directly back into the trail.
N.A.S.T.I., or Neillsville Area SingleTrack Inhabitants, is an off-shoot of NATA, and a mountain bike chapter of WORBA-the Wisconsin Off Road Bicycle Association. NASTI's function is to promote responsible off-road cycling and coordinate chapter fuctions like trail work days, trail building clinics and hosting mountain bike events.
