These guys are criminals. I paid them $6545 for a bike build at the beginning of 2018 and after a couple of months and numerous missed commitments for completion they said they would give me some loaner parts to use while waiting on back ordered components. I agreed and when I picked up the bike and there were more used parts on it than what I was told and the new tires/brakes weren't what I paid for. I took the bike anyway as I was told, by the owner that they would make this situation right. After waiting months to get the remaining parts I got fed up and asked for a refund. The owner has told me multiple times that he will refund my money, has even given me dates on when to expect it, but as of today I am out over $1000 in components and labor cost to build a bike with a bunch of used parts.
I could have bought the bike directly from the manufacturer but wanted to support local business in an industry I care about. Cost wasn't an issue for me, I paid list on everything, expecting that I would build a relationship and be treated like a valued customer. How wrong I was.
