How are they the same suspension design? Yes they both have axle on the chain stay but the way they have the links set up and it's location makes the world of difference. Voltage feels very progressive and bottomless as u going thru it's travel the shock moves to a position that gives more levage. If they are the same just because the axle is mounted on the chain-stay then they are no difference than single pivot designs. There is also a difference in the bikes center of gravity while in the air. Most of the weight of the voltage is packed between your legs and the stinky is heavy in front and back ( dual crown fork and linkage above the axle). Ride them both to feel the difference.
