Lately ive been getting a really sore middle finger from one finger braking and my hope mono trial lever scrapes the skin off my finger, i don't wear gloves and can't ride properly with them so i don't know what to do maybe stick a bit of sponge in the lever, can anyone help and has anyone else had this problem

move the lever over towards the stem more, you will get more leverage on it and hopefully wont hit you finger

If you're having issues with the lever itself, use some electrical tape to contour the lever to your finger better. Using something soft will potentially lead to more sore fingers.

File it down, or grab some sand paper.
