did you actually trade it or just sold the hornet frame? if traded how much did they give you for it?
I still have the hornet frame, meant swapped.

Hey guys!
Will hopefully be joining the Dartmoor club soon,
Have picked up a Primal 26"/650b frame in petrol/black size Large.

This will replace my current slightly more XC bias HT - will be swapping pretty much everything over from my current HT including the 26" wheels and SRAM X5 drivetrain and sticking my spare Fox 140's on the front and some SRAM Level brakes. Not sure whether to stick with 2x10 or swap to 1x10 while I have it all in bits.

Spec (at the moment) will be:

Dartmoor Primal 26"/650b frame
Fox 32's 140 travel
Nukeproof Warhead 50mm stem
Nukeproof Warhead 760 bars
KS eTen dropper post
SRAM X5 shifters/mechs
Superstar AM carbon wheels
SRAM Level brakes

Sizing is a bit confusing when you look at the numbers - have gone for the large as the reach is slightly shorter than my Nukeproof Mega even though the ett is longer on the Primal.

Anyway on to a more important question - what colour head set, set-clamp and grips should I get to go with the Petrol colour?

Will post pics when it arrives.

Is there a magic gear for a Dartmoor Hornet?

I would like to run mine single speed ideally without a tensioner

if it exists you can calculate it with this http://eehouse.org/fixin/fixmeup.php

cool idea, but keep in mind that the chain stretches

Finally got out on the Primal Plus. It rages a lot harder than I thought, great hardtail. Sad thing is, it only ups my need for full suspension plus bike....

Is it the 4x or the normal one? The 4x is ok with 120 mm, but the normal one should have at least 150 mm IMO.

Also, has anyone fitted a 2.35 schwalbe tire in a Hornet 4x?
