proberly go for a single crown for for now because its a bit lighter than a double crown and has better handling, you can get good deals on here and ebay, like derailleurs, cranks, wheels you don't have to spend alot on the smaller parts just try and get a good strong wheelset so you don't wreck them when you crash, with tyres it just depends what sorta trails you ride if they are pretty rooty and muddy go for a maxxis highroller or minion

thanks mate. du think a bash guard would be a good idea

A bash guard is always a good idea. And if you dont mind not running a granny ring you can save your self some cash by skipping the front derailler and shifter. It will also cut down a little weight leaving those pieces off.

YOu should also think about some sort of chain guide.

bash guard would be good.

are you looking to run dual ring or singlke ring up front ?

for cranks look into the howitzers or the stylos. both would be great. im running stylos in mine.

do you have bars picked out ? brakes? for brakes id go elixirs or codes

id agree with the tire choices said earlier, also look into the mavic 729 or 721. both are strong rims for hucking and dh.

seat and seat post are personal decisions, the way they look. to me though every seat post is the same justy about.

youll need a cassette something like the sram pg 970

for a rear derailleur id get a sram x9 with x7 or x9 shifters.

what kind of fork are you looking at ? there are alot of choices
