I have a fox float 36 with creaking crown just wondering if anyone else has this, I am just going to warrenty them later this season. Same thing happened with my 66rc2x and 2009 66 RC3.

Same thing happened to my F100's, the creaking anyway.

I just put up with it and they are still being used to this day (they were the 2004 model)

Quick question: how did you guys narrow it down to the crown? I'm getting a creaking from the headtube area. Pulled and greased the headset and thought everything would be fine, but the creaking is still there. Now I'm thinking it's the crown after reading this thread...

Take the fork off , put your bar and stem on it. Then stand on the bar with the fork up side down and twist the fork legs. When we called fox they seemed to know this is a typical problem.
