It's a metter of taste but if I have to choose I would go for the Giant: better suspension, better 2007 forks, better brakes.

Go for the giant I love it I use it for everything, dh, dj, freeride, urban even i bit of light xc the xc is abit hard but if you have the front mech fitted its no problem only problem I having with mine is that it weighs alot but its not rearly that much of a problem I ride it 16 miles on the road to get to my local dh track and I belive giants have life time warrenty on there frames.

When you buy second life time warranty means nothing, even then life time warranty actually only covers the frame if it fails due to a mfr defect.

The best thing for you to do is contact both sellers and ask if you can ride them on a track and see which you prefer because at the end of the day your the one who will be riding the bike.

Receipt is good for the original owner and no one else,if you crash you bike isn't covered but they can if they want offer you a reduced price on a new frame.
