Introduction.

Welcome to my guide on how to use the site. Any questions, post them on this thread.

Intro to functions on the forum:

As you can see there are different buttons which do different things on the forum...

Entering a URL/Website address

1.Click on the 'link' button (labelled on the first picture of this thread)

2.Type in the website address/URL you want to put in but keep the 'http://' in the box (for example www.pinkbike.com)

Entering a Pinkbike picture code

1.As you can see there is a number at the end of the URL.

2.Copy that number and paste it into the 'pinkbike image code' button (labelled on the first picture of this thread)

Entering Pinkbike video codes:

The same applies as Pinkbike image codes.

1.Copy the code at the end of the URL (highlighted in the picture)

2.Then paste it into the 'pinkbike video' box.

Posting a Youtube video on the forums

1.On Youtube, copy the URL at on the URL address bar at the top.

2.Go to the 'youtube video' button and paste the URL into the box.

Post a hosted image on the Pinkbike forum

1.When you find an image, right click on the image and 'Copy Image location' or 'Copy Image URL'

2.Go to the 'Internet image' (a.k.a Photo) button and right click on the mouse to paste into the box.

Replying to a comment on a photo or video

On a photo remember to reply to a comment you need to click on [Reply]

Finding subscribed threads

Subscribing to a thread and reporting posts

1.Circled red is the subscribe to a thread.

2.Next to 'Quote' is 'Report post' button click on that to report anything inappropriate.

3.Choose the relevant option or even add text to it to explain the report.

Reporting a user on their profile.

On the users profile, click on 'Report User' at the bottom of their profile page:

Moving a picture to the trash

1. Go to the album which has the picture(s) you want to trash.

2. Click on the pencil.

3. You’ll notice a drop-down menu appears.

4. Click on 'Move' then choose 'Trash'.

5. Choose 'Move Selected to.'

Uploading videos/photos

There are a couple of menus to upload pictures but I will show you this way.

1. On your profile choose upload photo (or video)

2.Choose the photo section you want to upload to. (If you upload to the irrelevant section, you may get suspended)

3.Select your album to upload to.

4.Click on the 'browse' button and select the pictures (or video) from your computer.
