well sea otter is like the easiest race on the west coast.
on the doubles there are pussy lines for everything
hardest race is prolly one of the northstar races or maybe a few parts of fontucky
and learn to bunny hop
thats kinda important in biking

I was being sarcastic. Sea Otter is a crap course, with nothing technical at all. It's just about who can keep speed in the jump line at the top and pedal all the rest of the way. There are some amazing DH courses in the NW, like Port Angeles and Mt. Hood. Look up in Decline to see some pictures of NW racing at its finest.

But you are right in a sense that it is the toughest course because you will have to pedal, and pedal hard to keep speed. People coming to race the sea-otter thinking they'll just have to pilot and float using gravity skills are in for a rude awakening. It's no secret that SO course is not a favorite of the elite dh racers, they go there because they have to.
