Time to give this thing a whirl. Debating making it single speed.

Debating making it single speed but happy for now. Possibly white walls too.

straight forks for DJ bikes consist of the:
36 831, 32 831, an old 2013 or before 36 or 34, Manitou Circus Expert, Rockshox Argyle, Pike U turn, Mazochi DJ1 DJ2 DJ3 forks. thats what I can think of as of right now.
personally, I run a set or 2017 36 831 and a 2017 Fox float DPS .

Alright yeah I was looking at the 831, still not the easiest to find but ill give it a shot. The bike currently has a xfusion vengence hlr lowered to 100mm, and never had much experience with xfusion. Anybody on here running something simular?

That's a pretty sick fork for DJs imo. I would just run it

Also could do a rockshox sektor uturn, lowered to the 100-140mm setting. I thought it felt as good as my argyle rct.

It'd be worth finding a lyrik u turn for stiffness, but finding a straight steerer one is pretty much the hardest thing in existence. Nothing wrong with 115mm up front on a dj. Over 5 pounds though.

Basically, a lyrik weighs the same or less than a dj1, but feels better. A dj1 feels more stable and stiffer than an argyle rct. The argyle is stiffer than the sektor, due to 20mm axle, but the sektor might be better feeling depending on if you like air or coil.
