Hi all, I need some help identifying these 888s, does anyone know which model/year they Are? https://m.pinkbike.com/buysell/3071559/
Probably 2008, definitely not older than that. Looks like the lowers have been painted, would be concerned about damage hidden by that. Those are the base rcv model, with ultra crude pumping rod orifice dampers.
hmm so not worth swapping for near new condition revelation race 2010s then

Yeah not worth it, those had problems with bad bushings from the factory. Very hard to get parts for these days as well.

All marz Ata forks 2008 and up were rc3 damper. 2009 with the silver Ata know has keyed adjuster to prevent it from spinning and adjusting travel during riding, big issue on 2008 forks. Ata was discontinued for 2010 my

Well I didn't know that lol however mine are getting stuck down but after removing the air valve on left side and undoing the top cap the internal piece moves freely. I can only assume air is getting trapped in lower section as pumping them up does nowt. I did get them this was but also want them running again.

Jimbomodder - check out this link to fix your stuck down ATA cart.
You will need to replace some o-rings (Preferably with quad rings!)
https://www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=95456

And if the string on the PAR piston is still in good condition, leave the PAR in there. It takes a lot of fine tuning air pressures to set it correctly, but if you remove it you will have no midstroke support, and have to run higher pressure to compensate, which is not ideal

I have been playing around with and modifying an ATA cart for m 55's which now performs very well after replacing all sliding seals with quad rings, adding a coil negative spring, and increasing the PAR string / tether length.

Have fun!!

Nice one, I think bushes have gone as well as seals as they rock somewhat room was never told about that but I guess it's a full strip-clean-rebuild project as got some domain 302s and some lyrik u-turns to use for now. Definitely want to sort them thou.

You could try marzocchi Mark, he is here on pinkbike, also has a website, he was one of the top dogs at marz usa and has a huge stock of parts.

Man is a legend, I killed a stanchion tube at crank works many years ago. Man had a new one in my hands for well below cost in a few moments.

Why is getting hold of 32mm seals so hard? Every other size is readily available but that one ahhhh
