66 VF2 LT -06, it gets 5 out of 5! I've used it for hard downhill (even comps) and freeride and haven't had a single issue with it! An absoulutley amazing fork, maybe a bit more weighty then others but if u don't care about those grams it's fantastic!
Quite simply the worst piece of crap ever to have been made, I could slate them all day there were so many down sides: Clunky stiction/Spindly "blink and I'll snap" arch/Flexy seals/Hollowed out "sheet metal look" crown would serve better as a candle holder - especially with the retarded idea of bolted stanchions which come loose while you're riding/Totally linear rate rebound damping that gives up on the last inch of extension anyway, resulting in top-out no matter what rebound setting/And there's the excessively cheap steel 'reinforcement' insert, not to mention the ridiculous 3.4Kg weight of the forks!!!
- I used to like Marzocchi, but now I will never touch or approve of any of their products again. Thats how bad they were! They have even started using elastomers again in the new dirt jumpers!
I am running the original('05) 66RC, for strength I rate it 10/10(as it ovalized the H-Tube of my clifcat that handled a monster for a year), as for damping, 10/10, as this is one of the most ajustable forks I ever owned, as for what-ever you call the fit btween the uppers/lowers, this would be a 9/10, for it has had some loosness since I got it, but hasn't gotten any looser.
