What's that bad mamma jammy weigh anyways? Me rikey.
Weighed it on the work scales today after seeing your post, 36.3lbs. Doesn't feel heavy when pedalling it on the 20/30 minute medium grade climbs I've done since I've got it though but that could be the 42T easing the pain abit
Just got this sorted, not ridden yet but looking forward to it. Hoping the weight is reasonable despite heavy wheels and tyres.
#hrm, 42lbs 8. Hoped it would have ducked under 40! Any tips without losing function or costing the earth? I know the muddy swampt combo are heavy Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/glasgowdan/Mobile%20Uploads/DSC_03932_zpsee1f62eb.jpg
Got my 2015 TR500 on order as well. I talked to Cam at Transition and he said that the frames are shipping out now, but the parts for the build kits are back ordered until sometime in March. Will post once my full build comes in, or I get any other info for those waiting.
I got a ccdb coil and it's brilliant, highly recommend it if you get a chance. No base tunes available but happy to share mine with anyone. I had the bike out on uplifts today and didn't once think about the back end... it tracks everything on the ground perfectly.
Front end needs some work, the fox 40rc2 didn't seem set up quite right, lots of feedback from the trail.
I should be picking up my TR500 on Tuesday or Wednesday of this upcoming week. I'll post some pics when I pick it up. Quick question, I've heard that the rear shocks come tuned from transition directly. Does anyone know if that's true?

If you email them and ask they give a good base tune, they did for me for a dhx rc4 and a ccdb coil

Thanks for the help. If I feel that it's already set up from the start then that's cool, but if not then I'll email them.
Here's my frame! Its currently being built at my local bike shop. Pictures do not fully show how beautiful this color is. The only way I can describe it as, is highlighter yellow. Its super bright. I'll post more pics when it's completed!
