I use Graphite Grease for bearings, bolt threads and such.

I use castrol lm grease. (Lithium) on all the bearings in my bike inc. On my freecoaster.. That's also what I use for my car too! And just pack the bearings full of it! As for chain I just give it a quick squirt of gt85 every time I'm feeling like it.. Last time was about 6 months ago

Never use lithium grease. It's rubbish. As it's all sealed what I'd do is take em out, soak them in gt85 or another Teflon based spray lubricant to flush all the dirt n stuff out. Then use a bit of a decent quality silicon based grease. Lithium is a very low density metal, why would anyone use that to lubricate bike parts?
On another note, I've never been a fan of greasing anything to do with the drivetrain, as soon as grit and dirt mix with the grease it turns into a grinding compound. I just keep mine clean and use a tiny bit of Teflon spray to prevent rust

It is not rubbish as other people use it and loads of bike shops use it too. And as the bearings are sealed back up there is no way dirt or grit is going to get into them lol hahaha

Loads of bike shops that don't know what they're doing obviously. I've worked in a few specialist bike shops as a mechanic (trained in a roadie shop, head mechanic in 2 good bike shops, one of which was mtb specialist, and workshop manager in another shop), and non of them used lithium grease. Lithium grease is cheap, you get it free with cheap loose ball bearings. Seriously, its not good. The only grease you should use on any bike is silicon based unless it's for carbon parts. Lithium disperses in water after time and also works as a grinding compound as it contains lithium, which is a metal

Thanks Mates tup
I looked into synthetic lubes . My chainj lube is vegetable base . But Pedros makes a synthetic lube though and I can pick it up locally Smile the other option if I need to is new bearings :/ I looked up the part number and found enduro hybrids for around 17-19 usd each . I saw they had the full carbon ones two but man 40 to 80 usd a bearing shit for that I would just buy a new hub Confused

15ft is a fairly average size for a bmx track, the longest at my track is 30ft
