G'day everyone, I have some old crappy platform pedals on my XC bike and I was wondering if anybody could recommend some nice grippy ones, preferably smaller, aimed at XC rather than DH/FR. I have some nice new 5.10's and they have helped a heap but I'm still looking for a bit more grip. cheers.

Shimano dx flats.

You can configue your pin set between large and small.

Not to bulky, but very durable.

Wellgo MG-1 - 380g, lots of grip with 5.10s (my combo for XC/Trail riding for years)
Kona Wah Wah

Any DH/FR pedals would work, just get a light weight pedal.
I have been riding Wah-Wah's for a while then work great!

I run Wellgo's MG-1 on both my MTN bikes (6x6 all-mtn and 4 x 4 play bike) and they've been excellent performers

probably the best value pedal in terms of low weight and toughness, a good platform size / shape and so grippy in my 5-10 shoes I've removed 4 pins per pedal face

Those Wah-Wah's look really nice. They were probably my favourite but a bit pricey compared to the Wellgo's. Nice bike btw

Thanks, if you look around you can get them new for $80-90 (usd).
They are expensive but I can tell you first hand they are well worth it and cheap in compairison to Twenty6's ect.
Good Luck.

Well I've already ordered these B124's so I will have to look next time. Just wondering, how does that x-fusion shock go? Also the Pike compared to say a fox fork/shock
