Dropper, and some fresh brakes and plus rubber. For where i ride plus has let me ride much more aggressively, and faster, while having much more fun. If you get the right tyres, pressures set up tubeless on the right terrain, it rips.
Wah awesome bike Which frame is this ?
I also love the 27.5+ 2.8 tire (45mm rim) on my hardtail, but would not want + tires for my enduro. Maxxis Rekon+ are really good tires and low pressure friendly.
Size large 2017 dartmoor hornet, great bike. These are the minion dhr’s, i prefer them due to their aggressive tread and strong sidewalls.
Luftkappe, lower leg service and 10mm reduction to the Yari(150mm now) -2deg headset so should be sitting at around 65.5 new cables and outers all round
I'm still thinking of cutting the seattube down below the brace so I can fit a 170mm dropper but undecided just yet. If I do, I'll likely change the colour.....faux patina is pretty cool looking although I'm not sure it will suit this frame
1st impressions good, way faster on the flat and uphill than my MmmBop not quite as agile or confidence inspiring down hill. Should be perfect for my local riding.
It’s a very fast rolling combo for sure, I do prefer a Magic Mary up front though, I find the butcher does the whole break away as you tip the bike in then grips again when you hit the side knobs, Mary’s are more consistent. For the value they offer they are A1 though Sigma sport, well cheap :-)
I'm looking for a faster rolling tire combo for my rootdown BA. Currently have a DHF and DHR II and love the grip, but not the slowness. Was considering a DHF front and Agressor rear. Any suggestions?
Edit: The trails I ride are filled with roots, often times wet and slippery.
